INTRODUCING: For the first time in country & Global market ‘The wax & fat free organic manure’ has been produced for the farmer to make soils porous, increased water holding capacity of soil and fast adaptability of micro nutrition in soils. WHAT IS PRESS MUD?: During crushing of sugar cane, Juice and Bagasse are separated. Cane juice is subjected to settle in a clarifier after lime and sulphure treatment. All the in- soluble impurities are coagulated and removed by vacuum filtration. The product so obtained is called as press mud.
PRESENT STATUS: Liming & Sulphitation process based press mud of sugar industries as such or its modified products are extensively used as organic manure with a number of distinct and proven advantages. In general the manure is prepared by mixing the raw press mud with distillery spent wash followed by multi strain microbial decomposition. NECESSITY OF UPGRADATION: The wax content in press mud is present from 8 to 15% on dry basis. This wax does not get easily decomposed and if applied to soil, creates structural problems in soil. A further up-gradation over the press mud is needed to overcome from the existing problems to get a high quality organic manure. The product has been obtained through elaborate researches by agricultural scientists and technologists. The following flow diagram shows the down stream processing of crude press mud into its performed product.
FLOW DIAGRAM OF ORGANIC MANURE & SUGARCANE WAX PRODUCTION: Crude Press Mud (from sugar industry) – Mechanical pelleting – Solvent extraction – Wax & Fat- Wax & Fat free press mud pellets – De solventisation – A)- Wax, B)- Fat & Solvent free press mud pellets – Drying and grinding – Press mud powder – Water treatment – 30% Moist. Press mud powder (paste) – Pasteurisation – Pasteurised press mud paste – Microbial decomposition – Decomposed Organic Manure – Packaging and marketing
The performed product of down stream processing is wax free. It is ready for soil application.
AGRICULTURAL VALUE OF ORGANIC MANURE: Sugarcane based Organic Manure is best suited organic manure for various situations of cropping specially as under: –
1- Normal soils, 2- Sodic soils, 3- Organic farming, 4- Integrated plant nutrient management.
Organic Manure is equally useful for almost all crops like Sugarcane, Wheat, Rice, Cotton, Pulses, Oil seeds, Vegetables, Tea, Spices, Floriculture, Fruit and Plantation crops. Under normal soils, well decomposed and pasteurized organic manure is ideal for using OM as an amendment for sodic soils, wax free pellets or powder, not necessarily subjected to microbial decomposition, would be more beneficial, and economical. It is well recognized and preferred organic source of nutrients for ornamental farming and kitchen gardening.
How to apply OM in field?: In arable soils, application of OM at least 10 days before sowing in moist soils is an ideal practice. However, OM is well decomposed manure and can be applied at the time of planting also. The full amount should be applied as basal and should be well mixed with the soil upto 15cm upper layer.
OUR CAPACITY RANGE OF PLANTS: 20 Ton per day to 200 Ton per day.
